Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is a cancer treatment approach that uses one or more cancer drugs administered intravenously or orally to either force the cancer into remission or reduce the symptoms of the cancer. The point of chemotherapy is often to inhibit the process of cell division causing the cancer to spread. Whether administered curatively or to address symptoms, there are many side-effects associated with chemotherapy: gastrointestinal distress, anemia, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, infertility, etc.
